Hi my Name is

ANTHONY

I've Been Here Since: 2011-11-15
DOB: November 15, 2009
Gender: Male
Size: 50 lbs approx.

My Behavior:

Tony1 Tony2

Seized during a dog fighting raid, this cute as a bug, little blue boy, came to us from Long Island, New York along with several other of his little buddies. Despite Anthony aka Tony's abusive past, he is still a very sweet and well behaved little dude. But he is a little shy and reserved and will require a home with someone that will pamper him and let him live a quiet lifestyle. I can't say enough how adorable he is and if I didn't have dogs of my own that are jerks, this little dollface would be living with me!  Anthony's kindness and forgiving nature for the humans that wronged him is heartfelt and he would be so grateful to be able to finally show that to a new human companion. Yes we know he's a looker but we are going to be strict about sticking to what we feel is best for him.  A patient and quiet home that will allow him to snuggle in your bed each and every night.  He behaves very well in public around dogs but does not want to live with another dog.

Help Support one of our Dogs

We have so many dogs that could use a little help to not only get them through each day but also help the non-profit keep our doors open. You can either pick one of our PIT PALS or pick a dog from our DOGS FOR ADOPTION. Remember, by doing this, you can come out and visit your sponsored Pit Bull in person and spend the day together. Be that special person in their life and show them that someone cares more about them, than the former owner who dumped them here. Help us, to help them. Anthony is so cute! I would love to have him. I can’t believe people enjoy watching these amazing animals fight. If I didn’t already have my little pit puppy he would be mine <3

    He is absolutely adorable!!
I intern at a vet office as we get a few pits in occasionally. I love working with them. They are so misunderstood because they are such an awesome dog to have!!

TONYYY!! I gotta tell ya, tonys pictures got my attention. I am recently out of the military, and in 4.5 years i spent 30 months overseas. I have seen that look in many eyes before. I then read about Anthony and felt even more of a connection for the fella. Before i joined i owned a Doberman Pincher . We had dogs growing up, but he, (bear was his name) was MY first dog. Just before returning from my first Deployment, Bear passed away. My father gave him a GREAT, fun and relaxing life. Taking him to the beach with his BFF (Cadie, a choc. lab) and my step moms kids, playing in the park, mingling with the other dogs in the park. Im still sad i didnt get a chance to say goodbye to the dog that watched me grow up. He was always there for me, so loyal and protective. I think that is what has always drawn me to the Pit Bull breeds. If you give them room to grow, they always rise to the occasion. I love the fact of how risiliant they are, their loyalty, and their overall good nature. Now, My fiance and i are looking at getting our first dog togeather. We are getting married this AUG. over here in WA State. She too has been with me through my deployemnts. Anywaysssss, back to the topic at hand… Tony sounds like our kind of dude. A guy that likes to lay around, not alot of action at the house. Our lifestyle is nice. We would rather pop in a movie and lay around. A nice calm lifestyle is what this Vet needs after a rough past similar to Mr. ANT! Anyway, just wanted to thank you guys for all you do! Hopefully soon (within a few months) we will be moved into a place where we can give a pup the life he/she deserves. We will keep our eye out on here to see if we can find a calm soul to fit our lifestyle. Who knows, maybe Tony will still be hanging around. God Bless you guys! GOOD LUCK TONY!! I HOPE YOU GET A GREAT HOME!

I hope he is still available when we move to a house with a big fenced in yard. I lost my brother 3 & a1/2 years ago and his name was Anthony. I have always wanted a blue and he is perfect. I have three small children that love dogs especially my daughter Lola. We had a little jack Russell mix that would sleep in her bed with her but we ended up having to find her a new home because we live on a busy street and our yard has no fence. Anyway, this dog is right for us, if and when the time is right I’d love to meet this handsome dog that has the best name in the world <3
