Words cannot describe this guy. I mean, are you kidding??? Just look at him! Eye candy on four legs. Blade was found at a county shelter. How someone could just leave this dog there is just unreal. But despite his drop dead gorgeous looks, Blade also has the personality to match. He is a very outgoing and energetic dude. Though he is an extremely happy go lucky dude, he will still need an experienced owner. Another thing to take into consideration on Blade is that unfortunately these "blue dogs" for some reason have been dubbed more valuable to street thugs and are often stolen. Any potential new owner has to have a very secure yard/house and must understand that they are basically adopting "buried treasure" that "pirates" will look for any opportunity to take. If we had a dime for everyone blue dog owner who called us stating their dog had been stolen, we'd be millionaires. So please understand that there is a big responsibility to owning this dog. More so than others. If you're up for the challenge and have what it takes, then this beautiful beast is the guy for you! Blade is also VERY dog aggressive and strong so someone with experience is a must.

My son loves to play with Blade on volunteer days. Blade seems very comfortable around him, and the feeling is mutual. Blade like to play my son’s game of catching the thrown hot dog. Blade is very good at that game. He’s a real sweetheart.

Blade is one handsome guy! I wish that I could adopt him, but we have two dogs and I live in NY State…. But I wouldn’t be able to get him for another 5-7 years even if I didn’t have other dogs, so I hope he gets adopted by a good person and has a happy rest of his life!

This is one dog I feel soo connected with, kinda funny cause I havent even met him, I want him, to be honest, I am saving all my money and I hope he’s still available when I I can afford to give him a second chance and a new home, I truly fell in love with him, he has a a story and I want to know every detail of it, ever since the show started I just think of him, when I see a dog or look at dogs I think of blade sitting there waiting for someone to take him home. I want him no one understands not even my parents. This is one dog I adore (not just looks) but the way you guys describe him he sounds perfect for me. And I’ve owned 3 pitbulls, red and blue nose I just hope he will be mine one day or I find a dog almost like him.

Why do i have to live in Australia? A country run by idiots who do not understand the terms of “It’s the deed, not the breed”. I would givve absolutely anything to have an amazing pup like blade here. in fact, pit bulls in general just steal my heart. Blade is so sexy, I have a DogoArgentino whom I think is a beautiful dog but there is something so captivating about his face and regal stature. I hope my dog lives a long and healthy life, and when he goes to dog heaven I will be contacting Villalobos for my next family member.

I absolutely love Blade and am a huge fan of the show my family and i have always had a dog in the house and just today adopted one from a local shelter a small female pitbull!
I am amazed that he is still available, as gorgeous as he is! Is it the dog aggression that puts people off, or have you not found the right home for him?
blade is so beatiful anyone would be so lucky to have him i think what tia does for pitbull is so amazing and it take alot people judge pitbulls but there the most sweetest dogs out there

I have a question. i currently own a American Pitbull terrior who is i nthe process of becoing CGC reg., I was wondering how well blade gets along with other pits. i am 30yrs. old have owned 6 other pitbulls that have lived up to about 8-12 years of age. I was just wondering cause Jamison my brindle is getting kindda lazy now a days and i would love nothing more than to have a pitbull companion for him. My children(3) love him unconditionaly and i would be proud to adopt and give a great home to one of your dogs….. maybe even 2. But i know it is a great big process and i am in the military so let me know what you can do to help me help you and the Breed…. I am a Proud owner and a Respectful owner. Its not the Breeds fault it the lack of Ownership and respect that gives the Breed a Bad name.

I hate people when they say it pit bulls are dangerous dogs and prolies are bad people. Tia I really hope the new guys come along so you can get more help with the ranch and btw how is creature coming along with his eyes and I can’t wait for the new episode good luck and tell the pits that I love them lol
Tia, I NEED BLADE!!! Omg, I am so in love. I swore I would never own another dog since my last, her name was princess and she was a white toy poddle she was with me for 15 years and I wanted to die along with her the day she passed but somehow Blade has made me realize the love I have always had for dogs. I want him so bad!!! Before I submit an application is it ok if I live in a 3 bedroom apartment in NYC? I don’t have a yard, what I do have in my apartment is a huge foyer that can basically be his room and around where I live they are parks that Blade and I can run and walk our little butts off.. he can be my trainer! Blade is so handsome…I just had a friend die on december 6th 2011from being attacked by her own two pits it was a very sad. They were fighting eachother and she tried to pull them apart and she went into a serizer n I think it scared the dogs n they attack her.. I love wat all y’all do there please keep it up n wish u all a very merry christmas…

I lived for 10 years with an extremely dog-aggressive pitbull and we never had a problem because we had a secure back yard, he lived mostly in the house and when we went on walks we didn’t introduce him to other dogs. He was wonderful with humans, just not great with animals. It worked out just fine to the day he passed away.
He is so beautiful and I wish I could have him but I already have 3 dogs I hope he finds a good home very quickly.

Me and my best friend wanted to get him but we live in Ohio. Here, there is only one insurance company that will accept pit bulls and it is 800 dollars every year, no payments. It’s not fair that they are feared by people.

@TERRI- To answer your question about what is a blue dog. It’s just referring to the color of a certain type of pit bull. They are either reddish or have blueish colors (usually some white also) on their coats. Staffordshire types are sometimes referred to as blue/blue nose or red/red nose. Google it and you will find out more information.

Hello my name is Amani, I started watching the show for the first time today. I really really need to adopt a dog! I had a blue razor pitt and he was big and gorgeous and he would let my babygirl jump on his back and walk around giving her a ride. I cried this morning watching the show because it brought back memories, I keep my dog inside I just let him out to get alil air and use the bathroom. I let spike out to use the bathroom and when I opened the door someone opened the gate and took him! I am still so very very sad! I have a void I need filled I have never been without a dog. I’m not rich and I am disabled but I need a life long partner. Please I need to adopt and I would really appreciate your help!

I currently am the proud parent of 2 amazing Pitts-Haze (whose a black lowrider) that will be turning 14 years young in July & Kito (a blue nose) that I’ve had since he was 6 weeks old that will be turning 3 in December. Prior to that I had my dear Henney-that was with me for 12 years and she sadly passed away last year.. I have never been exposed to such loyal, & protective creatures and we can learn so much from them! It’s truly how u raise them and I am a firm Bleiver in there being no such thing of a bad dog-they r only bad owners and it’s truly a crime what they have done to this wonderful strong breed of dogs because they r so noble and don’t deserve to b judged and hated by so many that haven’t given them the opportunity to make their way into their hearts! Have u been around an aggressive small dog? It just seems worse because after they r abused & fought they can b aggressive and they r strong dogs-that’s all! The reason why Blade caught my attention is because my sister owns my Kito’s brother and unfortunately he has not been neutered & he has consistently been getting out of the house for week straight-although he’s scared of his own shadow and hasn’t hurt a fly-people in her association r irate and angry to see him roaming the neighborhood & have started a petition to eject him from the home-my sister has made a fort around the house and today the dog got out some how (again) when she got home her friendly neighbors where in the process of putting him inside the house and the Condo President said he was going to call Animal Control on him! Blue is a loving dog-almost baby like because she too has had him since he was 6 weeks old, she has children 1 year and 6 year’s old and he is amazing with them-especially the baby that has been around him since she was born! I would hate for something bad to happen to this amazing boy & @ this point I don’t know what to do to help her since I’m such a dog lover! I would take him in myself-but I have my hands full as it is because I have an older dog that requires extra attention and comfort and a very high energy younger dog that takes the rest of my energy and I know it wouldnt b fair to Blue or them! He really needs a good home with a loving owner that will give him lotts of QT and a big yard to run free in-but to b able to cuddle w/his owner bcuz that’s all he knows-I was going to write Pitt Bulls & Paroles-but I’m not 100% that’s where he should b since they r doing such an amazing job finding abused dogs homes-it would b fair that Blue that has a great upbringing takes one of those dogs places for adoption.. If anybody knows if it is legal for a home owners association to force you to remove ur dog (in S. FL)-please let me know as well-I by no means think my sister is right-the dog should not b roaming the neighborhood-but it’s not his fault and I know it was in no way intentional-my sister swore she locked up good and I saw the fort she built but it doesn’t seem like enough! She was putting him in her room while she wasn’t home-and made an appt. To have him operated-to perhaps curve that impulse of running out-but I’m afraid it may b too late since the association has made it’s mind up and it’s only a matter time before their is an outcome of the pettition-but we would like to know out option (if any) and if anybody has an suggestions..

Wow, beautiful dog last time I was on the site looking for a dog to adopt I fell in love with him, right now I’m 21 & still living at my moms (plus we already own a dog or else he’d be mine) but working to get my own space but Chicago isn’t exactly cheap plus not all landlords allow animals, Hopefully when I get my apartment or condo he will still be here. Just sucks he isn’t good with other dogs.

Blade is the most stunning Pitbull I have ever seen .< She is a bundle of energy that you can walk for over three hours and she is still hyperactive. She listens when you call but is, like Blade, highly dog aggressive and can be human aggressive too. Well anyway, I love this boy, what a gem<3

Blade is an awesome dog! I have owned three pitbulls and would love someday to own one again! Blade has caught my eye and reminds me of my boy Drake that I had for nine years, but had to put him down because he got real sick. Broke my heart!!! This breed is the best breed ever!! It’s been two years now and I feel that I’m ready to have Blade in my life to make him feel loved, spoil him, give him the love and attention that he needs and deserves. I’m a dog lover big time! I hope my Uncle will say yes because we have been discussing about getting another dog! I want you, Blade!
What I can’t believe is I just moved to California and now this wonderfull organization has moved to New Orleans! I would have taken Blade in a minute. I have the experience to handle a dog like this, as I am a trainer myself and so wanted to volunteer for Villalobos!!! I’m so bummed!
