Hi my Name is

BULLET

I've Been Here Since: 2005-10-04
DOB: Oct. 2004 approx.
Gender: Male
Size: he's a short and squatty

My Behavior:

This wiggly waggly guy was one of our many Katrina dogs. But what is so sad about little Bullet is that we're positive that he had a wonderful owner.  You see he was found with this beautiful custom embroidered collar symbolizing being a proud Louisiana dog owner.  But sadly we could never find Bullet's owners.  Like so many of our Katrina dogs, some owners got scattered across the country and some sadly died in the murky waters of the Southern state.  Bullet is one of those dogs that desperately wants to be a family dog again.

This short and stocky little southern gentleman is so polite and well behaved.  Never have we seen a dog so longing for a family of his own, though we lost all hope in finding his New Orleans family, we are hoping to find a new family to fill that void, please don't let him be one of the forgotten Katrina dogs.

Help Support one of our Dogs

We have so many dogs that could use a little help to not only get them through each day but also help the non-profit keep our doors open. You can either pick one of our PIT PALS or pick a dog from our DOGS FOR ADOPTION. Remember, by doing this, you can come out and visit your sponsored Pit Bull in person and spend the day together. Be that special person in their life and show them that someone cares more about them, than the former owner who dumped them here. Help us, to help them. It is difficult to believe that such a sweet, attractive wonderful dog has failed to get a home. Is there anything that could be done to feature him. So much time has gone by that I wonder if he hasn’t give up hope of becoming a beloved pet again. So sad but thank goodness he has a wonderful safe place to live.

Bullet is a very handsome dog and has a nice shiny coat. I feel bad that him and his owners were seperated but a dog that looks like that shouldn’t have too much trouble finding others. I hope he does.

I can’t help wondering now that he is back where he started if he can’t be featured on a local tv show with his history being explained to see if anyone recognizes him or would like to complete the circle and give him a home after all these years. That poor guy–his story is particularly sad, don’t you think?
