Hi my Name is

GOOSE

I've Been Here Since: 2011-04-01
DOB: April 2009 Approx
Gender: Male
Size: He's a chunky guy/Approx 75lbs

My Behavior:

Found abandoned and chained up, Goose was desperate for help and human attention.  He is a very energetic dog and will require a confident and experienced hander.  Goose is a classic example of the Pit Bull breed and loves to go, go, and…did I say go?  And though he is full of spunk, he still prefers to be cuddled up in your lap and just "hangin". This big red beauty is just a great all around dog who just wants to know what a soft couch feels like so that he can forget those days of a big chain around his neck in the hot sun.

Help Support one of our Dogs

We have so many dogs that could use a little help to not only get them through each day but also help the non-profit keep our doors open. You can either pick one of our PIT PALS or pick a dog from our DOGS FOR ADOPTION. Remember, by doing this, you can come out and visit your sponsored Pit Bull in person and spend the day together. Be that special person in their life and show them that someone cares more about them, than the former owner who dumped them here. Help us, to help them. I believe that what you do for the pit bull breed and for the parolees is great. As a proud pitti owner I wish you all the best and because of you guys I myself hope one day I too can start a rescue for pit bulls over here in northeast Pennsylvania. I wish you all the best and stay strong.

    Tia & Crew,
U all kick serious A$$! I am insanely jealous of you. I have ALWAYS wanted to do what you are doing.
It was only going to be for cats but then I found Bella.
On Jan 1, 2009, a cold, snowy, night Bella was wandering the street looking for food and a home. She was about 6-8 months old, hyper and sweet as can be.
We were going to send her to the animal control the next business day but by the time that rolled around I couldnt give this awesome little PB up :)
I have cats. She has NEVER once been mean or anything to them. Even when they scratched her! She would whine and put her tail down.
My latest doggy is a little Chihuahua named Hercules. He was roaming the street with a female Pitt Bull! Attached at her hip or leg actually. Juliet got a good home right away & Hercules ended up with me & Bella. He has been here a bit over a month now. He is older and a typical Chihuahua. LOUD & BOSSY! Bella is so soft spoken and easy going and very attached to us. Especially to my husband.

Thanx for all of your hard work! I wish you could come to Bridgeport CT to school us all about Pitts. Man oh man they need some SERIOUS edumacation in this area about dogs and cats and how to treat, raise, train, care, for them.

I swear if I win the Lotto youre getting a HUGE ass donation & I would LOVE to go there for a vacay & volunteer for the week.

Much love to you all & the doggies..

Tia..u are my hero. I wish I could do what u do so I’m going to fund a way to contribute to your cause in any way I can. Goose, as well as the other 200 beauties that u have, have touched my heart and soul! I have a rescue pit as well. A beautiful red nose named Jolie that we saved from the fighting world out in LA over 10 yrs ago. I already fear she is on her last leg, but I comfort myelf with the thought of adopting one of your babies after that day comes. I can’t take the chance of giving Jolie a bro or sister bc of her past with other dogsgsu.Until then, I will scrounge together what little I can to help u and ur cause

You would have to submit your application and then one of the adoption counselors would review it with you, good luck!

Iam trying to find a good home for a Blue nose pitt. We rescured him because he was not being cared for. I love him but I have no time to train him since I have to work to survive. He needs proper training desperately. Is two years or less very strong and I dont know if I can contain him on a leash? the other people in the house use forcxe to keep him from jumping on them and I do not agree with that and we have many battles. What would be my best course of action? thank you

First of all I think you’re amazing for being such a giving person. I’ve never owned a dog, my 16 year old son has been begging me for a dog since he was able to talk. He’s an athlete, so I know he doesn’t have the time to give the attention a dog needs. My boyfriend works long hours and has owned dogs but also knows it would be unfair. Our previous neighbor had 3 dogs, 1 a pit and they were horrible owners. They never got walked, their area was the small concrete side of their house with barely any shade.I work from home and once I learned their constant barking and knocking different sections of our fence was because they wanted attention I made it a point to become their friend. We even gave them fresh water daily and sprayed them down when the family left for a few days. All 3 dogs shared 1 dog house and the pit was able to jump on top to greet me every day.We offered to walk the dogs once in awhile and the owners said they’d take us up on the offer but never did.One day there were 2 moving trucks so we knew they were moving. I checked for the dogs and they had already moved them. I didn’t get to say good-bye.From that point on I stumbled on your show and we’ve been watching & donating ever since. We fall in love with all the dogs featured.I was especially happy to see Creature adopted. We’ll continue to help through donations. You all are great!

i would like to see about adopting a companion for my female rednose/ gator pit, does not matter if it is neuterd or not, just want a male companion for her because we lost her mate a few months ago due to a terrible illness caused by a snake bite.

I would like to adopt a pittbull. I live on ten acres iin the country in Santa Ynez. I am a very big and strong male. I have raised three dogs. I have experience with pitts and I know how to assert dominance. I am a lover of animals and a peta member. I eat meat… I am a mma fighter and I feel like me and a pitt could be best friends. I dont in any way want a dog for fighting. Just a pal with gameness. Someone to enjoy life with. I’m 32 . No felonies. Im college educated and responsible. I like males that are very muscular. Blue or red nose, or whatever. I just love pitts. Please help. Ill love the dog. I like goose.

Goose is a wonderfull energetic and loving pitbull. I had the chance to run with him, play tug a war with him and love on him while he got comfortable in my lap as if he was a 10 pound Doxie this past Saturday. I got to see the grew in action there on site and they are on the go and always very busy with all that they do. The show on TV shows Tia speed walking from here to there and alwasy on the move, Well I witnessed it first hand. She is as you see it. Cooper was a great dog aswell as was Munchkin and Mar=Mar, but for me I made a connection with Goose. He is a big boy full of enercy and love. I hope he gets his forever home soon.

Goose is just beautiful! i’ve been watching the show all day and just watched the one where he was rescued. Tia, what yall do for these dogs is just amazing. and when your show first started i was so excited because ever since i got my first pitbull when i was 9, i just fell in love with the breed. Im now 15 and have owned 5 pit bulls. i currently have 2. And i love the way you stand up for the breed. when people talk crap about pit bulls it pisses me off to no end. I LOVE my pit bulls, when im sick or not feeling good my white and brindle pit named Baby will just lay there on the couch with me all day. shes the sweetest. when yall move to New Orleans, im gonna come visit!
Keep up all the good work!! Love all of yall! (:

I would love to adopt goose but, sadly, I don’t have enough money to take care of him in the first place. Nor do I have the yard big enough :(

Got something to say?
