Hi my Name is

I've Been Here Since: 2012-09-27
DOB: August 25, 2012
Gender: Female
Size: growing healthier every day (they are currently about 12lbs - they came in at 6)

My Behavior:

If ever there could be such an act of cruelty from a human thus is the case with this little brother and sister. Found down by the industrial canal, rummaging for food were this brother and sister. If not by a chance meeting by one of our employees walking his own dog, Mickey and Mallory would've died within a few days. Looking like a pair of holocaust victims, they were literally walking skeletons desperate for any scrap of food they could find. Judging from the condition they were in, it looks like they had been without anything to eat for a couple of weeks. There are no houses down by the industrial canal so more than likely they were dumped down there to die a slow death. They are quickly bouncing back though and as typical Pit Bulls go, they are completely forgiving of all that human has done to them and desperately seek out more love than any other pups we've ever had. Micky is the shy one…he was skinnier than his sister Mallory and is a little more reserved…once you win his trust he's the sweetest thing ever…malllory moves at a million miles per second….she loves to chew, play and get into mischief….they do not have to be placed together as they live with a bunch of other dogs now & are just as happy playing with them as with each other.

Help Support one of our Dogs

We have so many dogs that could use a little help to not only get them through each day but also help the non-profit keep our doors open. You can either pick one of our PIT PALS or pick a dog from our DOGS FOR ADOPTION. Remember, by doing this, you can come out and visit your sponsored Pit Bull in person and spend the day together. Be that special person in their life and show them that someone cares more about them, than the former owner who dumped them here. Help us, to help them. I love your program and all that you do. I started watching Pitbulls & Paroles & between that & my niece, we ended up adopting 2 rescue sisters to go w/our 2 rescue beagles & 2 rescue cats.
We are planning on coming to NO next April, 2013 & really would love to come by & meet Tia & everyone who is there. When it gets closer to the time, I will write to get directions.

    My luv & support,

Villalobos you guys are saints! Pitbulls are such a misunderstood breed, I wish more people had the love for the breed like you guys do.

Tia, my sister and I would love to start a food drive for you in the bay area ( alameda ca) can you help us and tell us how to get started. We know you prefer pedigree, but will accept all foods. We plan on asking dog food companys to let us know what ones donate to you so we don’t ask them. We love the work you do,and, from you and the show,my fear of pit bulls does not exist anymore.also,we will be asking pet stores to donate. So please let us know a.s. a.p. thanks Carol and Patty Rose

    Hi all of you!
You guys are just awesome!! I have watched your show for years and don’t miss an episode. I think it’s just great your rescue operation and wish there were more around like you. The pitbull breed is so misunderstood, it’s such a shame! I am a true animal lover and have had many animals of all kinds in the many years of my life. Every animal I have now are rescues, and I will continue resueing as much as I can. I have 3 rescue cats and 1 rescue dog. My dog I got at 8 weeks old from the humane society sitting in the corner of the cage just asking for a way out. She is a black lab mix and does look alot like a lab but has many features that could be pit. I have often thought of having her tested to see what breeds she might be, only for my curiosity, but you know what, it doesn’t matter because we love her no matter what she is. When we watch your show and see all the dogs, she has so many of the same characteristics. It is so fascinating to me! But then of course if that was exposed everyone has there own opinions and I much don’t care to hear them because they just don’t understand. Once again, Thanks for all you do.

    Hey from bonnie Scotland !
BIG fan of your show and all you guys do !
Was brought to tears by the poor dog Gringa episode !!
Made me sick to see such treatment of an animal clinging to
life with only it’s genetic spirit !!
Was a pit bull owner myself but lost her at 4 years and then breed
was banned here in the UK so couldn’t get another !!
Anyway keep up the great work guys god bless !!!!

I live in Maryland and I was wondering if I could adopt a dog. I currently have two dogs and a few other pets in the house.

It’s my prayer that everyone on the planet watches your show on 11-24-12, since the network is advertising that they are going to give a donation for each and every view of “Pitbulls and Parolees on 11-24-12.”

I’ve watched every one of your shows, most often twice and am also praying for you, Tia, your daughters and your entire staff, to receive blessings for your enduring and endearing work to make this world a better place for pitbulls and parolees as well. I too hope that one day, rescues are not even necessary. What a beautiful world this would be.

I contacted your network, as I have a great idea fo one of your shows. :)

  14. Jennifer on December 6th, 2012 1:37 pm

Hey Tia! I’m very interested in adopting both. I have a few questions firsts. How old are they? (Guestimate age. ;0) . Do you have any more pictures of them? Especially of their paws. Yes, I am a Pitty Owner, and have been for 11 years. I am very knowledgeable with the training, diet, exercise, allergies, and everything else that comes along with being a owner. I fell in love with pitbulls while volunteering at my local Humane Society and I can’t ever see my life without one. These two are just too precious to pass up.

Got something to say?
