Hi my Name is
PAULA
DOB: Feb. 9, 2010
Gender: Female
Size: 35 LBS
My Behavior:
Our sweet like "one eyed" Paula. Bailed out of a local shelter here in Louisiana by a good Samaritan, we will never know what happened to her. When she first came to us, she was petrified of everyone, so much, that she snapped at every kind hand that reached out to her. This behavior of course would've been a death sentence for her in a normal animal shelter. But because we have the luxury to take our time with our dogs and really get to know them, they can take all the time they need to "become a dog again". This was the case with Paula. It took her some time, but eventually she became one of the kindest and gentlest dogs we've ever had. This little Pit/Border Collie mix (at least that's what she looks like to us) is fantastic in the house and gets along with dogs (though he/she has to be the right dog) if they behave as she does. Because she can be a little shy at times, if she is placed with kids, they should be older. Paula will probably also need to be in a quieter and calmer home. But no matter what conditions she requires the one thing that is for sure, she's an absolute doll.

Help Support one of our DogsWe have so many dogs that could use a little help to not only get them through each day but also help the non-profit keep our doors open. You can either pick one of our PIT PALS or pick a dog from our DOGS FOR ADOPTION. Remember, by doing this, you can come out and visit your sponsored Pit Bull in person and spend the day together. Be that special person in their life and show them that someone cares more about them, than the former owner who dumped them here. Help us, to help them. What a pretty girl! She sure doesn’t look her age.
Paula is just the kind of dog that makes me continue to watch your show each week and everything you all do for these dogs just amazes me. I am so glad you continued your passion and even though California couldn’t handle you, you are now in the place at the right time. Paula is miracle dog and seeing her smile in the video just brings tears to my eyes because it shows how much hard work you really put in with each dog you get no matter if it is a pitbull or not. I love what you do and please don’t ever stop because you make this world a better place with all your hard sweat and tears! Thank you from the bottom my heart being a dog lover!
She is beautiful
wow what a beautiful dog.
Paula is the dog i have been looking for. Ive always wanted a dog that had no leg, or no eye and ive found ‘em. And lately ive been wanting a pit/ or a mix of pit bc ive learned to fall in love with these precious creatures. Sadly, as to my age and condition i cannot adopt her right now. But ill say ive never wanted a dog so badly. I hope she finds a good home soon, but if in the next year shes still available. I will come to get her<3 Her smiley personality, and positive come back from such neglect is amazing<3 Thank you Villalobo's for doing such amazing things. It brings hope to my heart that there really is great people and love in this world (,:
She is so adorable. Not to mention she is a mix of my two favorite breeds! If I could adopt this dog, I would, but I have a cat that hates dogs and I live cross-country.
