Hi my Name is

Named after the California governor (well at least the one that used to be big and buff) Arnold is one big ass boy!!  And unfortunately he's got the "tude" to go with the muscles.  So because of this , he cannot be put up for adoption.  But we deal with his sometimes grumpiness and he has now become our founder, Tia's sidekick because she's the only one who will put up with him. Why are all the good lookin' ones a*@hol@s??  But they say, ladies love the bad boys.

SPECIAL NOTE: Arnold appreciates the sponsorship. His favorite thing: anything edible. HIs second favorite thing: anything edible. His third favorite thing: anything edible….his forth favorite thing….. :)

Hey. I live in Perth Western Australia. I’d love to sponsor Arnold. I know what it’s like to own and train a dog that has the same behavioural tendencies as Arnold and I believe that dogs like mine and Arnold are missunderstood. I’ve donated to Villalobos a few times now but I think it’s awesome to now sponsor individuals as well as the whole cause!!!!

In honor of National Pit Bull Awareness Day, I’ve “adopted” Arnold. I just adopted another Pittie (this one is a mix) and I can’t adopt anymore dogs or my friends will sign me up for “Hoarders”. LOL. What better way to celebrate today by sponsoring a dog that is not able to be adopted out and help provide the care he will need while he has the opportunity to live his life out in the care of Tia and her gang!

I had been sponsoring Arnold but my husband passed away unexpectedly and life got flipped upside down and inside out. I’m out of the fog and back! LOVE the new website and the ease of making payments! Keep up the great work, VRC!

Arnold reminded me so much of my dog Franco who passed away last year that it brought me to tears. I had to sponsor him in Franco’s memory.

The instant I seen Arnold my heart dropped. He looks exactly like a pitbull I rescued from a dog fighter . His name was Bear and unfortunately after a year of dog training and lots of love, I had to put him down. Do to the fact he had become an endangernment to me, my pitbulls, and could not be around any other dogs or people. We have no rescues for dogs around here that are considered unadpotable dogs… It broke my heart and theres not a day that goes by that i dont miss him. But i feel that being a responsible pitbull owner, you have to know that some things just can’t be fixed, And its sad that people make these dogs like this, and then the dog has be held accountable for peoples mistakes.I can’t wait to start sponsoring Arnold, he reminds me some much of Bear, and i would love to donate to make a difference in Arnolds life.

OH MY! Arnold is so cute and looks exactly like the pit we rescued!! He was nothing but skin and bones with infections and wounds all over him when my son found him tied to a post in the scorching hot sun for 6 hrs. He untied him and took him home to live with us where he is buff and healthy just like Arnold now.
I love the work you do.. thank you so much for all the blood sweat and tear you put into your mission for both the pits and the parolees.

My family saw this picture of Arnold and read his story, and just knowing he’s a lifer and is in your hands and won’t be put down at the shelter was enough to make my family want to sponsor him. I know it’s not much, but hopefully the amount of money you receive on a monthly basis from our family will help!!! :)

I love your show and all your family. We never had any pits until my youngest son got involved with them .I always raised Dobermans,I on got his 1st Pit 4 years ago and of corse she was pregnant .We took 1 of the pups and she no more looks like a Pit than I do.We did realize her dad was a Lab.but we love her the same. Then the neighbors behind us had puppies and the daddy is a Pit bull. The mom is a lab [sound familar].Anyway I was looking out behind us1 morning and saw this little lump, that was no where near the mom or the other pups.So I walked over and saw this thing that honestly thought it was a pile od poop.[sorry] But it moved .I pick her up and could her her in the palm of my hand. She weighed less than 3 lbs.I brought her home and called my vet and he told me to feed her goats milk. The lady called me and asked me if anyone had been around that 1 of the pups as missing,I told her that I had her and was taking care of her .Needless to say she could of cared less. She laid on my chest for weeks while I fed her and loved her .Today she is a red absolutely beautiful Pitbull. To look at her ,you see nothing but Pit.I want to Thank you for all you and your family do to help this misunderstood breed .I am disabled but my husband and I want to start donating $ 20 .00 a month to help you out .That isn’t much ,but right now its all we can afford. As bills go away .we will try and send more .God Bless and keep you safe in your new place .Please keep us updated on Chong and how he is doing .That broke our hearts to hear about that .Again God Keep you and your family [including the dogs] safe .Sincerely Judi & Rob Anderson

All of these dogs are beautiful and amazing creatures. I am a pitbull owner, Bo he’s 1.5 and I love him more then life itself. He is truly my baby. Everyone knows the bad rep pits get but we all know its not the dog it’s the owner to blame. You all truly inspire me, the work you do with pits and parolees is truly needed because hey everyone deserves a second chance human or animal. Tia I salute you and I hope to soon follow on your footsteps. I understand how it feels to be tossed to the side and not be given a second thought so here I say for everyone to see you are a hero of a quiet 18 year old girl who wants nothing more than a second chance for all those who deserve it whether its a pitbull or a chiwahwah a priest or a parolee!

Got something to say?
