With his long legs and mysterious ways, he is a favorite with the staff. He is absolutely brilliant when it comes to learning anything new and ever so athletic. But sadly he doesn't do well away from us. He feels very secure here and he is now become a permanent member of the VRC family. If you like to run, hike, job, or anything that's on the move, then Spyder is the dog for you to sponsor!

    Hi Everyone
I live in Brisbane Australia and love what you are doing for these dogs. I have just watched your show about creature and how he was having trouble getting a home.I feel in love with him but we are not allowed pit bulls here where I live they are banned. So I was hoping to help you all with some leads, toys and a couple of other things for the dogs and was wondering how I go about sponsoring Spyder but dont know how to do it from my end. Please if you can could you email me back to let me know how I can do this. Thank-you Sharon

Well since our little Nakita, our rescued 9 year old mix of Pit Bull/Daschund/Chihuaha, ( I know strange) who is not willing to share her home or family with others, we decided we thought we would sponsor Spyder. He’s so sweet looking. Can’t wait to learn more about him.

I am so proud to be a Pit Bull owner. I am also proud of the Pit Bull and Parolee group making the big change to Louisiana. I have rescued and adopted out many pit bulls to loving and generous homes in the last 5 years. My whole family has engulfed there lives to help pit bulls. We want to help the crew in any way we can with the new shelter in New Orleans. I think Pit Bulls and Parolees all need a second chance in life. CONGRADULATIONS!!!!!!! Keep Up The Great Work!!!!!!!!!

Thank you….My children and myself have seen hard times, like so many others. But, your show always shows us to never give up. We watch faithfully and cry often. You and the whole crew do such an amazing thing for these precious pets (and the paroles, too). If the world could have an ounce of your hearts…..It would truly be a much better place!

Hello there. my name is brandi and i am in love with pitbulls. they are the most amazing type of dog ever. this dog right here looks exactly like my pitbull nova. she is a blue pit and the most amazing thing ever. i honestly don’t understand why some people have to assume that pitbulls are aggressive and bad for people to have. Honestly, pitbulls are only aggresive when people decide to beat them almost to death. which is not right whatsoever, figure i’d better go. email me back if you want too.

Hello Tia and Family, You Tia are an inspiration to all women…You and your girls are doing a awesome job. I just wanted you to know a Pit saved me and my newborns life many years ago, I was visiting a friend of mine at the time he had a pit and a doberman. For some reason the doberman had trapped me and my son in a room, the pit(judas) came out of nowhere and attacked the doberman. It was al over before i had realized what had happened. Judas was our savior and you and the girls save pits. I am delighted to sponsor spyder. Keep up the good work. God bless you. Juanita and Tory

You guys ROCK!! My husband and I have “rescued” everything from dogs to goats and everything in between for the past couple of decades. We own three and a half acres in the Pine Barrens of N.J. We have always wanted to get involved at a higher level and now have a “store-front” on a major highway on the way to Long Beach Island, 30 minutes away. I am not sure if this is the place to reach out about this but if you are ever interested in expanding, give us a call. We could get involved in a “take-offf” of Pitbulls and Parolees and open Pitbulls and Pineys! There is a place called Vision Quest directly through the forest (miles and miles of dirt roads directly outside my door from the back house) and we can hear the “drills” of these non -violent offenders who have only horses to work with. I think there is a need here in New Jersey and if it is to be, it will be. Hope to get some kind of response fron you guys, but if not, I understand that you are just a little bit busy. God Bless Tia and “Family” and keep up the good work!

I hope Spyder is doing well ~ we are do happy to have “adopted” him and continue, after now 2+ years to donate to the Sanctuary. I urge others to do so as for just $10 a month, there is POWER in numbers!!

Got something to say?
