Ginger aka GingerSnap (her super model name) came to us along with Roy and Oden. They were all a apart of a hoarding situation where an elderly woman thought she was "saving" all of her pets by cramming them all in her yard and house. Approximately 70 dogs and 40 some cats were found living in filth. Despite living in a pack of dogs and having to fight for her food on a daily basis, Ginger came out of her ordeal a happy go lucky girl. She is full of life and enjoys her walks. She's a regular party girl!

Gingersnap is part of our satellite dog program….she is thriving living in a house….she is housetrained, crate trained and a lovely lady to have around.  She is comfortable around other dogs…..she'll throw her butt up in the air & run around for a minute and then go about her day….she would do best with an mature man.  Crowds make her nervous so probably so a quieter life would be best for sweet snaps.

Ginger Snap loves to walk with my 10-year-old son. She follows him just like Masala does. This girlie dog likes long walks and always seems very relaxed, indicating that she seems to have forgotten her previously stressful life. A great dog for anyone.

I have a Mini Dachshund named Ginger. We named her that cause she’s the color of ginger bread cookies! We saved her life cause when she was in the pet store they didnt know she had Parvo (She was a 8 week old puppy, now 3yrs). She pulled through , barely. Since then i always belive dogs named Ginger have good luck! GingerSnap will find her perfect home someday!

Omg Ginger is soooooooo cute :) I am in love with her but we live in ohio with a little chubby Beagle so you know that it wouldn,’t work out…sadly :( We live on a lot with almost 2 football fields worth of land but we have a huge farm with a newly built house that our grandparents are living in just across the road from where we are living. The farm is back away from the road about a quarter mile with 2 fields between the road and farm. We would love her for our grandparents but we don’t think it will work too well because of the multible cats on the farm and the fact that we live in Ohio. Tia we LOVE everything you do and we wish your hubby luck… best wishes from our family to yours!!!! :)

Ah, Ginger….She reminds me of Pumpkin, a Pit Bull I fell in love with at the Table Mountain Animal Shelter in Golden, CO. I couldn’t adopt him because I live in Denver, but I retained the big soft spot for those wonderful expressive faces. Someday soon, I hope to move out of the City and County of Denver so that I can adopt a Pit. Thank you for taking care of those babies!
