Hi my Name is
ALFIE
DOB: Feb. 2007 approx.
Gender: Male
Size: about 45 lbs
My Behavior:
What a tough life this little guy has had so far. So typical of a Los Angeles stray, he ran the streets of downtown L.A. for weeks and weeks until his guardian angel managed to bribe him with water. Still very afraid she managed to convince him to go with her and finally here. He has come out of his shell and is absolutely the sweetest dog on the property and sooooooo happy go lucky now. What a little charmer he is and so appreciative of what he now has. As far as breed, we're guess he's a very rare Heinz 57…as in, guess away!

Help Support one of our DogsWe have so many dogs that could use a little help to not only get them through each day but also help the non-profit keep our doors open. You can either pick one of our PIT PALS or pick a dog from our DOGS FOR ADOPTION. Remember, by doing this, you can come out and visit your sponsored Pit Bull in person and spend the day together. Be that special person in their life and show them that someone cares more about them, than the former owner who dumped them here. Help us, to help them. He’s so adorable. He looks like a little cartoon character. I wish I lived in California so I could volunteer at the ranch. Maybe i’ll make it out there one day =D
He is so cute! I wish my dad would let me get a dog. Our buliding has TONS of dogs all the way up to Great Danes. I would love him. But sadly Dad won’t give in. >>
Such a precious dog! I wish I could adopt him.
This dog has been here since 2009!? She looks incredibly sweet. I have no idea why she isn’t adopted yet. I will most definitely look into adopting her.
I would LOVE to adopt him but sadly, I love in Oregon and already have 2 dumb cats that seem to only come inside when they’re getting soaked outside… =( I’d love to cuddle up to him when my cats are being loners (99% of the time).
oh he is adorable. I am so happy you guys moved to New Orleans. I was wondering if he is one of the dogs that made it there. He looks just like one of the dogs we have now.
If he is still without a forever home by the time I go to vet school, I will find a way to adopt him or someone like him where ever I end up
Alfie looks like one of the dogs that used to be at our animal shelter in Texarkana, Arkansas and the dog’s name was Rosie but my school’s librarian adopted her though. she was really sweet. By the way, I volunteer at my local animkal shelter which is the animal Care and Adoption Center in Texarkana, Arkansas. That’s why I know the dog.
