BAMBI

Bambi and her brother Roscoe (pictured) ended up here like so many of our other dogs. The latest in losing homes and having to move. Growing up in a loving home, it was very hard when this big girl was brought here. Coming from a beautiful home to kennel life was very traumatic. Despite how big she is, she is gentle and calm, not to mention DROP DEAD GORGEOUS. We will place Bambi and Roscoe together if the right pit bull savy adopters come along. Otherwise we are okay with placing Bambi with another gentle male dog, as she is the one out of this duo sweet on other dogs as well.

This pitbull caught my eye. She is definitely drop dead gorgeous. I am 14 and i want to open my own pitbull rescue when i get older. I love the breed. I grew up with 2 full blooded pits and 2 pitbull/ german shepard mixes. They were my babies. 1 of the full blooded pits had to be put down due to cancer. I miss her more and more each and everyday. If I was older and had my own house, I would take Bambi and Roscoe!

My wife is impossible to shop for… i got her the hoodie and t-shirt to support the cause but she has said she would love to adopt from you. she is a vet tech and tought a pit training course in phoenix before we met. with her skills she is amazing with animals of all kind (though her cat allergy makes it a nusiance and i always have benadryl on hand it seems the cats just “know”) She is recording every episode and we sit down as a family me her our son and Beau and watch it every saturday.Beau an adopted blue nose, we got with LOTS of issues… who is after a TON of positive reinforcement with toys and treats and piece by piece training with food , just a doll. he is not agressive towards anything except his own tail occasionally. We will be moving to phoenix by april and intend to eventually add to the family. Since our son is 5 we’re planning to wait a few years as beau (our current dog) is more than enough for him at this point, or maybe it is our son who is more than enough for beau? either way i am thinking for her present this year since dogs arent good presents…. i want to put her to work for you for a week or so. i would cover her plane fair and hotel stay (my son and beau and i would come as well but we would go do our own thing…. shopping and parks and the like :) ) and let her just spend time helping you guys out.. she has a ton of experience with the breed and would adore the oppertunity even if it meant long hot days and getting dirty plus it is something she would NEVER expect. i am looking at the april/may 2012 time frame and NM or LA are both an option (though i think she would really love NM as she is a sucker for the “impossibles” ) please pop me an e-mail and let me know which is better for you and where she can be more of a help :) mandy

When I saw her picture I just fell in love. She really is pretty. I’m 11 and when I grow up I dream of having a animal rescue place for any animals. I am an animal lover and I love dogs and horses the most. Yes, I do ride horses I have 2. My favorite dog breed is a Pitbull and a Pug <3 !! I would love to have this dog, but I have too many pets, such as, 4 dogs, 2 horses,4 fish, 2 parakeets, and 2 frogs!
