DILLINGER

Just another stray in Los Angeles. Poor guy has tons of scars all over his head. He is such a love bug…..starved for human attention! He is a very low maintenance kinda guy, loves to just lay around inside the house and on any lap available to him:)

Dillinger is a volunteer favourite here at Villalobos, his gentle, loving personality has endeared him to all who spend time with him.  All he wants is to love someone…isn't there someone out there who wants this gem?

Other dogs: He'll behave around them, but he does need to be the only dog in the home

Update – Dillinger recently had surgery to remove one of his eyes, he had sustained an infection that wouldn't go away.  We think he's sorta handsome with his new pirate look :)

Ah this handsome guy stole my heart! If I didn’t have a dog, or if he was dog friendly, I would take him in a second!

To Melissa D thanks so much for sponsoring my dog! I’m the Melissa that adopted him and he is a love! He is the best dog we’ve ever had for my autstic son and we’ve had 3 before! If everyone had a dog like Dilly Bar the world would be a better place!

This story is so sweet! It is sad about his eye but he still is a very handsome pit. The eye patch brings out his color :)

Good luck on your new life Dillinger <3

Ok so i know i said that LaTwanda is my favorite dog of yours… but… i can’t help but consider this guy right up there with her! I absolutely adore the both of them and if i could (I have a 12 year old, VERY spoiled, used to being the only dog, grumpy mut already <3 ) I would have taken them both in already!!! Thank you for being my hero Tia! I'm sad to hear you've left us in CA, but I completely understand and I am so greatful for the time you have spent rescuing us here and if there was anywhere else that needed you as much, if not more than we do, I'm happy to hear you've chosen to save LA next! Best wishes with your move!

I know the family who adopted this sweet boy. They brought him into the veterinary hospital where I work and the entire time I was checking them in he was in my lap. He could not have found a more awesome and loving home and I look forward to seeing him again.

Oh Dilly, you’ll always be my silly Dilly with a very special place in my heart. I knew from the moment I saw you that you deserved a much better life. Only you and me know from what you came from. You are very handsome with the eye patch! Love ya lots, lots of hugs, butt rubs and snuggles for you.

Got something to say?
