Hi my Name is
BASTIT
DOB: 11/08
Gender: Female
Size: Medium
My Behavior:
Named after the Egyptian cat pictured in magnificant tombs, Bastit is too a sleek and catlike creature. This Cane Corso/Pit Bull mix though small in stature is mighty in heart. She is very bold and energetic yet loveable and loves to snuggle in your lap. Bastit loves to play with her toys and she would be a wonderful lifelong companion. There must be a kingdom out there somewhere, waiting for this piece of royalty.

Help Support one of our DogsWe have so many dogs that could use a little help to not only get them through each day but also help the non-profit keep our doors open. You can either pick one of our PIT PALS or pick a dog from our DOGS FOR ADOPTION. Remember, by doing this, you can come out and visit your sponsored Pit Bull in person and spend the day together. Be that special person in their life and show them that someone cares more about them, than the former owner who dumped them here. Help us, to help them. She is THE most strikingly gorgeous dog I’ve ever seen. I will be living in NOLA from september- december so you’ve got a new and dedicated volunteer – can’t wait to meet Bastit and the rest of the Villalobos gang!!!!
Bastit is stunning! She reminds me of my Ninja girl, who passed away in her sleep last year at the ripe old age of 16 1/2. I rescued her as a pup…she was skin and bones, covered in fleas, and running in terror from a chihuahua that was a third her size. I stopped at a stop sign and she jumped in my jeep, crawled in my lap and claimed me. She earned her name because she thought she was slick! She would get up in bed trying to be sneaky, crawl all the way to my head, and flop on my chest. That was where she slept every night of her life. She came into my life as a blessing, and everyone who met her loved her. She and my neo-mastiff great dane mix, Soldier, were best friends and bonded so strongly that two days after she passed away, he died laying on her grave. Those two dogs were my childrens playmates, snugglebuddies and “herders”. I hope whoever is lucky enough to adopt the beautiful bastit will love her as much as I loved my Ninja-girl.
