Pajamas is a lab mix but she has dwarfism so she will never be close to full size. She's about 25lbs. She's very sweet, but needs a patient home as she can have some anxiety.
Many of you followed her story almost a year ago this summer. She was a pup that we found near our facility, mutilated in what appeared to be a staged dog fight. This 4 month old puppy had been ripped to pieces in what was obviously a bait dog situation and then tossed out like garbage. Well….LOOK AT HER NOW!! She's breathtaking and has bounced back from her emotional scars (though she still carries her physical scarring). She is a great house dog, loves road trips and is actually now fun to be around dogs (her size and up) but…we want her to go as an only dog in the home. She has been living with me and in my home, goes on all the road trips that I have to attend and has been my constant companion. So I can say with certainty…..she is fantastic!!
If you are looking for a dog who is pure entertainment, Abdul is perfect for you. .This guy is about a year old and LOVES his toys. His crate looks like an episode of hoarders as he keeps so many toys in there. He behaves around other dogs but because he's so toy crazy he should be the only pet in the home. This guy has one request only…new toys…he knows the new from the old…and he loves to destroy them…he's so kooky and sweet he'll make you laugh every day.
This little Texas tornado came to us after being wrongly accused of being involved in a dog fighting case. As crazy as it sounds that's what happened. We were called by a frantic owner that her home had been raided by law enforcement. They were accusing her of being a dog fighter because she owned multiple Pit Bulls. Oh sure at first we didn't believe it but when the owner sent us photos of all of her dogs cuddled together on the couch, we realized that this family needed our help. So we offered to take one of her dogs to ease the stress and Coco came to California.
Though petite, this little spitfire has got some energy. She LOVES to go for runs and nothing pleases her more than to wiggle into your lap as you try to hug her and then…she waggles out. She is silly and fun but she will need to be the only dog in the home. Coco would make a fantastic family dog as she was raised with children.
